We
invite you to submit completed work. We are looking for currently relevant
pieces, length 3-7minutes. Ideally, this work would jive with our
mission statement and possibly fit into one of
the segment categories below.
Submission
deadline is the 10th of every month. (Firm!)
These
are the types of submissions we'd like to receive:
- Investigative
Reports
- News
magazine pieces
- PSA's
- Trailers
- Political
Event coverage and commentary
- Social
Issue mini-documentaries
- A
National Segment
- An
International Segment
- Political
Animated Cartoons.
- Comedic
Political Pieces
- Culture
Jamming
SPECS:
- Label
your tapes!!
- Clearly
include with or on the tape: your name, the piece title, and your phone
# and email address.

It would also be helpful if you sent a short description of the piece
that our host could read to introduce it.
- Give
us 30 seconds of black at the head of your piece.
- MiniDV
format.
- The
piece must be completely edited and finished.
- Do
not include credits on your tape... email
them for inclusion in our final credit roll.
- Title
and Broadcast safe.
- Please
view and listen to your piece w/o headphones thru a TV or NTSC monitor
to confirm that everything is okay and your AUDIO is really okay!!
- Make
sure you have permission for all talent, footage, music, etc.... We
need a completed agreement
form with your segment.

NOTES:
Please note that SLTV reserves the right to run the episode that includes
your piece at any SLTV screenings and airings. SLTV is not for profit,
and is a volunteer run collective. We may sell DVD copies of our episodes
at screenings at cost for interested members of the public. We will also
have each episode available for download at www.archive.org.
Also, tape submission does not guarantee the piece will air on the show,
and your tape may not be returned to you.
